Shortly After Our Bangkok Trip

Okay, so I went to Bangkok last week with a few friends, spent approximately $700+ on everything from food, shopping, accomodation, entertainment, transport, etc. and now I'm officially broke! haha. But broke as we are, we're planning to go overseas yet again. This time, when we're all grown up and have the spending power needed to visit Europe and beyond.

One of my friends is already thinking of Amsterdam. The thought of staying in a hotel in Amsterdam terrifies me. Not because of anything in particular but the price! OMG. It is so wayyyy beyond what I can afford at the moment and I don't think I can afford going there at all. Everything is in Euro, and that just doublifies everything! But who knows, when we grow up, it'll all be small pieces. haha.

And I was thinking, why not we stay over at someone's place? That just brings me to hotels in Barcelona which are also in Euro, but I've got an aunt who lives there! Maybe we can do a homestay or something. heheh. Amount spend on accomodation is eliminated! Furthermore, I'm sure she'll be damn happy to have Singaporean guest for the first time! heheh. With zero dollars on hotel, we'll have more money to spend on eating and shopping!

Or how about New York? With the dollar weakening (and my online shopping bill going up!), its cheaper to head to the US of A. I've always wanted to dance on the Statue of Liberty much like MJ did in his Black or White music video. Ok, that was totally irrelevant.

But all in all, I'm sure we're going for a holiday soon enough. What matters most is that we get to see the culture in other countries and get to know how they run their daily lives. And not forgetting, shop till we drop!

Dang, I regretted not buying more Polo-Ts from Bangkok!!! ARRRGGGHHH!!!
