Riding a Honda Wave in Heavy Rain

Today marks my virgin trip in heavy rain, on a Honda 125cc Wave. I would say it is not a pleasant experience, one that I hope will never happen to me again having gone through the cold, the poor visibility and the shrinking of your balls. And yes, I mean it literally.

I was cruising on the PIE when it happened and fortunately, I had my Gore-tex jacket on. I thought that would suffice but hell no, I was wrong. When the rain poured, I was drenched in a mere 15seconds. The cold rain got into my bones in no time, and on top of that, visibility was poor.

I remained calm and filtered to the 3rd lane in an attempt to reduce my speed. I was already going at 60km/h but I still feel unsafe. heh. Took my speed down to 50km/h and followed behind a slow moving Kangoo. Ahhhh... Now, all I need was a bridge to chill under.

But!

There wasn't any bridge! Like wth. And I ended cruising all the way to my destination. By then, I was drenched and shivering from the waist downwards. Along the way, some big lorry drove past me and splashed water all over me! That made my underwear wet! lolx!

Moral of the Story: Gotta get those full suit Raincoats which cover the top and the bottom! ANGRY LEY!
