Hey hey... This topic suddenly popped out of nowhere and I think after countless 'unrelated to my life' entries, this should be a good topic to begin with.
What are the misconceptions people have on me? What misleads the majority into thinking that I am what they think I am? Since I am the person who they have a misconception on, perhaps I can answer these questions.
Firstly... Most think that I'm righteous, morally correct or easily said, pious or religiously inclined. It is flattering, but I am definitely not 100%. I'd safely say, 10% is true, and the remaining 85%, you make a guess. I miss prayers once in a while. Truthfully, I miss them when I'm outside, playing games, or too engrossed with the current activity I'm involved in. Oh well... There's an inifinite room for improvement for myself. heheh. I'm quite open in terms of religious belief.
Secondly... People perceive that the moment I reach home, I'll be at my table, mugging away. Lolx. That is so not true. The moment I reach home, I either sleep, eat, or use the computer for reasons other than studying. I don't do tutorials. lolx!!! Ask my poly buddies lah... Out of 14 tutorials, I'll only attend 3, and do only 2 tutorials.
Thirdly... People think I'm stuck up. Okay, there is truth in this myth because I tend to keep my thoughts to myself and can be quiet most of the time. But like all people who are considered stuck-up, we can be quite a conversationalist at times. Its all up to the clique.
Fourthly... Perceived as a master of all trades. Lolx! That is definitely not true. I'm just human and can never be a master in all disciplines. Jack of all trades? Perhaps. But there are some disciplines that I need major improvement such as the emotional quotient, psychology, business and perhaps biology and medicine.
Fifth... I'm stubborn. Okay, I am stubborn only if that party cannot explain to me effectively the reason for choosing another solution, or perhaps, the solution that the other party has, is done that way because that's the way things are and we shouldn't change it. Lolx. For the latter part, I'm trying to be flexible with it as I go on to NTU as there are somethings which you can't understand and have to follow the way things as it is. So yeah, if you have a better idea, explain to me why, how, what, and you'll soon find out I'm not as hard-headed as you think I am. heh
There are a lot of other misconceptions, and some will never be discussed due to its sensitive nature. However wise Mr Wise Guy gets, he'll never be the WISEST guy on Earth. Have fun, and do not take life so seriously. Else, you'll die young!
