Okay, this is random. I found out that you can ride to town from one end of Singapore, wait 5 minutes at Macdonalds, and head back, all in 45 minutes AND without breaking the 90km/h speed limit. Cool huh?
Now, back to story-telling.
Sometimes, you make mistakes. Others make mistakes, everyone makes mistakes. Okay, maybe not sometimes, but all the time. You can be the source of anger for a cashier, who thought you were rude when passing her the money using your left hand. Or you can appear stuck-up in the eyes of a close friend, who thought you should at least acknowledge him/her when the two of you cross paths. The permutations are endless...
I make mistakes. They range in size from Disastrous ground-breaking ones to teeny weeny small ones. These are lessons charted in the lesson plan we call life, and we are in the classroom everyday, every second, every minute. We learn from it, and hopefully, we etch it in our minds and never repeat it. And I for one, have vowed to never repeat those silly mistakes. Ever again.
Put yourself in that person's shoes, and try to reason out with yourself. Is his mistake justified? Has he got a good reason to behave that particular way? If there are none, then perhaps you should approach that person, and ask why. Or if you can't help it, just smile, and move on with life. Forgiving is much more simple than revenge.
Forgive and forget.
Kiss and make-up.
Learn and improve.
Let's all live our lives for the better, and always help another friend who is in need. You treat me well, I will treat you better. =)
