Question: What is a tudung?
According to dictionary.com, the word tudung means,
noun
a scarf worn around the head by Muslim women in Malaysia; conceals the hair but not the face
To be exact, the tudung is worn by Muslim women all over the world, not only in Malaysia. And as muslims, we are to adhere to a certain dress code that has to meet specific criterias. I am not the best person to explain what the dress code is, but according to the picture below, taken from Isteri, (translated from top left, clockwise)
1) Long sleeves, until it covers the wrist
2) The tudung must be loose, covers the chest and not transparent/translucent
3) Clothes must be loose
4) Shoes that do not make the 'clicking' noise
5) Socks to be worn
6) Skirt/Pants/Clothes must be loose and cover the ankles
(OMG, please tell me if I screw up this translation)

Question: What is the reason for me writing this post?
Well, this thing has been bugging my mind for a rather long time. Not the tudung issue, but of some other stuff that has been happening so frequently, I think I'm jinxed.
I should be thanking God for this blessing, but then again, I just love the way things are.
