The Less We Speak, The Less We Hurt.

I always envy smooth talkers, social people and presenters. Words flow like water, and it seems so easy for them to convey a message, to be understood and to carry across a point to their audience. And I aspire to be fluent in my conversations some day.
I seek help from a particular individual who is well-versed in the art of presenting, picking up women and being the life of a party. His advice was simple. Its either you have it, or not. If you have it, its good, it can be sharpened. If you don't, its best you remain what you are, and choose only the best words to be said. Its just how we're designed. Those who can talk, need to learn how to stop talking, while those who can't, have to choose the right words to say to make their very few words worth waiting for.

After close to half a year being a Yes Man, I've not even neared the socialite that I wished I was. I am still dead old boring me. haha. Yes, I am adventurous, I do very strange things and I am fun-loving, but when I'm in a group, I'm reserved. Its just how I am designed. I operate alone, or in pairs, and have never thrived in a massive group.

Whatever I am designed to be, I am fortunate that I am made this way. As the saying goes, "The Less We Speak, The Less We Hurt."

The less we speak, the less we are heard?

Ahhhh... That's another take on the saying. There's some truth to it though.
