Day 16. Are You Being Served?

This fasting month has been a real test of patience, especially when you're eating out. Personally, I try my best not to eat out without a reservation because that means waiting in line for an hour plus, in a hungry state, and generally, its never good to be in that position when you are fasting. Just yesterday, I saw the queue at Pizza and I went, "FUIYO!". It was as long as a single MRT carriage. I can't believe people actually get into line, with hopes that they get a seat for breakfast and Are You Being Served well?. As the saying goes, "A Hungry Man, is an Angry Man."

Unfortunately, even when the table has been reserved, and all possible worse case scenario taken care of, there are the odd restaurants that are not up to standard. There are some eateries which take an hour plus to serve. That means, we only get to break our fast at 8pm, and if you're hosting a gathering, it doesn't reflect so greatly on your planning. Singapore Customer Service .. Share Your Story, have you experienced a great or not-so-great experience?

Click the link above to make yourself heard! The Are You Being Served blog is a site that compiles experiences, and they even have a group of people, who randomly place staff in various customer service scenarios, and subsequently rates and comment about the outcome.

Okay, maybe they are testing the service of the staff and rating them. But if you ask me, I don't think its fair for customers to expect 101% all the time. They are human, and like everyone, they have feelings. Who knows they're going through a break-up and just feeling very shitty? Spare a thought for service staff too aites, and make this world a better place. =)
