GIP India, Day 75, Life is Subway.

There are not many things here that remind me of home, or even capable of giving me comfort. With this in mind, it comes to know surprise that when I come across something that boosts my morale and help me keep my sanity, I cherish every bit of it. One good example would be my weekly Subway Club Foot Long meal.

If heaven isn't a foot-long Subway Club fresh from the microwave oven, then I don't know what is.

Home Delivery Rocks!

Here in Nashik, they have Subway home delivery. And thank God for that! Usually, we'll hang around Nashik in the earlier part of the day, make our order in the early evening, and have it delivered after internet time. That way, we got to heat it up in our microwave, and EVERYONE knows that food tastes best when its warm.

Yummy!

This is half of heaven.

Chuck it in the Merry-go-round.

Can you smell the cheeseeeee.

We're kinda fortunate that the last batch left us a microwave oven. Without it, we can't make our weekend breakfast, late night hot drinks, nor can we heat up our precious Subway sandwich. So yeah, Subway Club is THE FOOD here in Nashik. Without it, life would be much difficult. heh.

i agree with you that its the only thing that can keep us sane in india! but its quite expensive man. one meal is like 4% of your salary. its equivalent to earning $2000 in singapore and spending $80 on a subway meal.

E1,

Yeap, it tastes exactly the same. Though I must say that they kinda free-flowed their onions more over here.
