Finding You

Was walking along to the car when there came an epiphany of sorts, realising that life was for up till now, one big search. Not the kind kids play in the game of hide and seek, rather, a path of searching, seeking, and finding out how life turns out.

Life is not really a walk in the park. Although there is an obvious lack in conforming to the social norms, the feeling of general contentment is present. The sensation of being thankful, blessed with stability in most ways, and a certain wonderful presence that has in a way, built itself from strong foundations. And as mentioned before in a previous post, the year 2012 is a big year. It is the year that the search may lead to some closure/progression in career aspirations and how it will work out for the rest of life.

Patience, is key. Being hasty will bring only unhappiness and destroy the pillars that was built. Good things come to those who wait they say. Even after numerous pitfalls, the determination still stands and the fire of dreams, burn ever stronger. In takdir and rezki, there is trust.

Somehow along the path of this searching and seeking, comes a new lesson, alien in so many weird ways. There are the lessons of warmth, compassion and personal development this time. None on the development of raw technical skills, but rather, the building of strong feelings, being objective in arguments and planting the seeds of always looking at things on the bright side. The lessons come hard and fast, at times, humbling. There is no better way to introduce it than now, when the ego is at its lowest and emotionally weakest.

Indeed, the Almighty works in strange ways.

There is fear in these uncertain times. It comes in so many forms and dimensions. There are many stories told of men and women living through similar troubled times, and most are unpleasant. However hard or difficult it is, the knowledge there exists a voice out there cheering on and believing is refreshing. Most trials and tribulations, were faced and overcome easily. But somehow, this time around, its been really tough.

And the hope for it to end is now stronger than ever.
