A Game of Cluedo

A nice cool Hari Raya Haji eve, along with a few good rounds of Cluedo made my day. I didn't expect myself to pick up the game quickly and was quite surprised to win the last 2 rounds. Must be lady luck smiling down on me. Or is it just that I thrive in games where you have the opportunity to deceive. hehe.

Lets run through the game a bit. Basically, you try to guess who was the murderer, the murder weapon, and which room the murder was held in. It is great fun and a good starting point to get your 'poker face' right. Initially I couldn't help but express excitement when my cards were called. But after a few rounds of practice (and losing), I somehow got used to it. Pity the brothers who kept asking "Eh, what was the card you showed me!? I forgot!". hahaha. Damn cute la. But oh well, the rules are clear and I'm not obligated to re-show or repeat myself.

For a thorough read on the gameplay, click CLUEDO RULES AND GAMEPLAY.

I thought board games were the typical roll dices, move your pawns, and reach final destination like snakes and ladders. But somehow, Cluedo spawned a new era of discovering interesting board games that is definitely fun and engaging.

And that game took my mind off things for a while. :) I'm so digging that game.
