I just reached school today when I heard of a stabbing incident at Nanyang Techonological University (NTU). There was a fatality, and one injured. The student has been identified as Indonesian Chinese, David Hartanto Widjaja. In these times, death and tragic events happen so often, I didn't gave it much thought until I read it in Channelnewsasia. Check it out NTU Student Dies, Professor Chan Injured. Or NTU Professor Stabbed, Student Dies for the Straits Times.
I have to admit that being an Engineering student is rather demanding, and it gets to your nerves at times. Continuous quizzes, tutorials, lab reports, Design Innovation Project, reports, electives, social life. The stress can get to you, and at times, you just break down. The solution is, you gotta find your sanity pill, and make sure you have your daily dosage. Have you found yours?

A final year engineering student at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) jumped from a campus block after stabbing a professor Monday morning.
The professor was in his office at the engineering faculty when the student stabbed him in the back with a knife, leaving him injured.
After stabbing, the male student, who was in his 20s, slit his wrists and jumped off a five-storey high building.
