(from previous) JOIN THEM AT PUNE! The suggestion was brought up by JY at 5pm, and was formerly approved by the executive committee at 5.30pm. Cool or what. A decision to travel 200++ km was made in less than 30 minutes.
Once we reached home, we hopped out of the moving auto and got back in, in less than 10 minutes. Underwear, shirt, money was all packed in that short period. Once we reached the bus station (which was nothing but a small shophouse), we bought tickets (200 rupees) to the first bus out to Pune at 1900 hours.
Surprisingly, the bus service was rather organised. There are proper bus tickets, proper booths, a proper bus conductor, and I must say the level of organisation is somewhat comparable to the bus service at Larkin. We are even allocated seats! I always thought the bus service was a free-for-all. What a waste carrying my jack knife, football helmet and armour for the rush.
Pune got bombed while we were on the way there. It didn't dampen our spirit a bit, and we were still cool about it, as if nothing happened. The police were everywhere, at every junction, and because of that, we had to take two autos. Haiz. Costs us 120 rupees per auto. Expensive!
(Sorry guys, I'm not in the mood today. Got a bloated tummy. Will make it up tomorrow kays.)
