3 cats, living in the west of Singapore experienced a food shortage in the early hours of Thursday. The Noose reported that the 3 cats will die of hunger in less than 30 seconds if no food aid arrives. No man dared to venture out and cross the infamous 'Death Plateau' to come to their aid. No man had the equipment for the crossing and at the same time carry 15kg of food supplies.
No living soul, but MrWiseGuy stepped up to answer the call... MrWiseGuy, along with Daisy Sue, rode the same Honda Wave that made the 350km journey to Kuala Lumpur and back to respond to the SOS call. When they arrived, the cats were overjoyed to see the GARGANTUAN 15kg Royal Canin dry food pack so much so they swarmed around it with curiosity, biting the packaging as they checked it out.
Like all military operations, there is a need for formalities. Coco fluffed up the 15kg food pack that was at least 3 times heavier than her and stood at attention waiting for the officer in command to review. Like all good soldiers, she did not give up.
After everything was over, it was time to makan!!!
Actually...
Buying 15kg worth of cat food was a financial decision.
15kg = $95
2kg = $25
It made sense to purchase the BIG one. Only trouble is, finding a place to store it. We could keep it in the original packaging. But experience tells us that the dry food will 'lemau' if placed in its original packaging. 'Lemau' biskot is no yum yum. So we decided to pack the biskot in balang-balang macam kuih raya liddat. Awesome.
The next time you come to MrWiseGuy's house for Hari Raya, watch what container you open. You never know what lies inside!
