We did not do much today, having visited a traditional Indian health centre and a short lecture on Indian traditional medicine. So, let's move on to something interesting here about India. The food.
Screw you guys man for thinking that I have been eating curry day in day out. They have a huge variety and selection of food to choose from. From Paneer, to Masala, to Kheema, to Tandoor, to lots of other stuff... There are so many, I don't know where to begin.
Everything in India is super spicy. When I say spicy, I MEAN it. But after a while, after getting the taste buds and stomach accustomed to that level of spicy food, taking any spicy food is a breeze. I mean, over in Singapore, I would rush to the toilet after having food. But here, I kinda got it all under control and in fact, I think my stomach is at home over here. :)
Otherwise, my advice to those who would be staying over in India is:
1) Make sure you love eating vegetables, beans and rice before heading here.
2) Eat spicy food before coming over.
3) Try out new stuff every meal. There is bound to be a dish you really like. For myself, I really like Rice and Chicken Masala. Costs only 95Rupees, less than SGD$3.
We tried out the Vermicelli (insert some Indian word) over at a house in India. Its sweet unlike anything I've ever tasted and the texture is like eating Oats. So there you have this oat-like texture, bundled with noodles (Vermicelli), raisin, Almond, cooked over a small flame for an hour. Super NICE la~
I had 7 small bowls of that good stuff... Can you believe it!!!
There seem to be a fascination with Chinese food over here. Everywhere you go, there is bound to be a restaurant serving Chinese food. The odd thing is, there are not many Chinese tourists/nationals here! HahaHa. So I wonder what is the logic behind all this. Oh, and the Chinese here is unlike those served in Singapore. It has been somewhat "Indian-ised" and is SUPER SUPER spicy la~
Things are not that bad here in India...... yet. I mean, even in Singapore, I eat curry, enjoy naan and like strong flavours with lots of spices. The only thing I am missing is my monthly cockle trips at Choa Chu Kang Park and Black Pepper/Chilli Crab. hehehee. But otherwise, it looks like I'mma love Indian food!

Good if you have managed to customize your stomach to such spicy food. We all know about your relationship with spicy food since you were a little boy. So India has been a catalyst of some sort for your stomach, eh? Your mum must be very happy!:)
