Food in Batam is the best.
I'm not talking about buffet spreads, delicacies or anything out of the ordinary. It is the absolute yummyness of its Nasi Padang that I really adore. From Ayam Penyet, to Bumbu Kecep to Daun Ubi to the simple rice. It is absolutely perfect. It is to the extent that I would dare say, its worst Nasi Padang stall would fare better than any average Nasi Padang stall back home. Yeap. The food is really yummy here.
And at the end of each day, I am thankful to Allah for giving me this opportunity to make a living in the most comfortable place. Alhamdulillah.
Allah is great.
